6. Liquid asset certificate must be submitted in the prescribed format attached in section 7 (General Specification).

7. Payment of work will be made on availability of budget & fund release. No extra claim/ interest for delaying in payment will be entertained. R/A bill will be entertained on the availability of budget and fund. But work progress can not be hampered for lack of fund release/ want of R/A Bill.

8. Flood fighting work will be done by contractor. Failure may be a cause for contract termination.

9. The design may be changed/altered/revised (if required) and quantity of tender item may be increased or decreased.

10. The selected contractor will handover total work site at a time. No scope to handover the site partly.

11. Taskforce guideline of BWDB will govern.

Eligibility and Major Conditions

All Tenderers must be registered with CPTU through the e-GP Portal and must submit all required documents specified in the Tender Document. Failure to comply with the prescribed requirements may result in summary rejection of the Tender.

Tenderers must visit and examine the project site at their own responsibility and expense and obtain all information necessary for preparing the Tender and entering into the Contract.

No additional cost will be entertained for transporting materials or equipment to the site. The contractor must ensure that no damage is caused to the embankment or road during transportation. If any damage occurs, the contractor will be responsible for restoring the damaged portion to its previous condition.

A Liquid Asset Certificate must be submitted in the prescribed format. Payment for the work will depend on the availability of budget and release of funds. No additional claim or interest will be entertained due to delayed payment. R/A Bills will also depend on budget and fund availability.

The contractor will also be responsible for carrying out flood fighting work, and failure to perform such work may be a reason for termination of the Contract. The project design may be changed, altered or revised when necessary, and the quantities of tender items may be increased or decreased.

The selected contractor will receive the entire work site at one time, as there is no provision for partial site handover. The work will be governed by the BWDB Taskforce Guideline.

Lot and Financial Information

The procurement consists of one Lot, identified as COX-Bakkhali-W-05, located in Cox's Bazar Sadar.

The Tender/Proposal Security amount is BDT 95,000. The tentative start date is 1 October 2026, and the tentative completion date is 30 June 2027.

The Tender Document price is BDT 1,500, payable through bank. The Tender/Proposal Security remains valid up to 26 December 2026, while the Tender/Proposal validity is stated up to 28 November 2026.
