Six months of government: What civil society got, what it didn't get

ix months have passed since Tarique Rahman assumed the office of prime minister. One tenth of his party’s five-year mandate has now elapsed. For a government with a five-year tenure, six months is neither an eternity nor an insignificant period. It is enough time for citizens, institutions and civil society to begin assessing what has been achieved, what remains unfinished and what the government is realistically capable of delivering.
